Most mornings will be spent in the Redwoods, photographing giant trees and forest scenes during the best time of year to capture fog in the forest, which results in incredible light rays. Evenings will be spent on the rugged Southern Oregon Coast, where we'll capture the sunset and then the Milky Way over impressive sea stacks.

Autumn in Southern Utah
Southern Utah boasts some of the best fall colors in all of the world, with beautiful cottonwood trees that have a ton of character. In this workshop, we'll be shooting in Utah's badlands and canyon country during the peak of fall color. Many of the locations we'll be shooting on this trip are very seldom visited and some have never before been photographed.

DEATH VALLEY AND THE MILKY WAY PANORAMA
This workshop photographs both the lowest and highest points in the continuous USA, spanning everything from arid deserts to towering mountain peaks. Plan on shooting the Milky Way panorama, mud cracks, sand dunes, arches, canyons, rolling hills, and more in this action-packed workshop, which also includes extensive post-processing during the daytime.

Utah's badlands and the Milky Way panorama
Late spring is the ideal time to capture Milky Way panoramas, and this workshop will do so with the stunning backdrop of Utah's badlands. Each participant will be loaned a star tracker that you'll learn to use to create highly detailed and noise-free night sky images. You'll also learn the whole post-processing workflow to take your images to another level.

Olympic National Park: Oceans, Forests, and Mountains
Olympic National Park is home to rugged coastal seascapes, old-growth forests, and towering mountain peaks surrounded by fields of wildflowers. In this workshop, we'll capture it all, including a night of shooting the Milky Way. Lodging and transportation is included from Seattle, Washington.

Tetons and Yellowstone: autumn landscapes and wildlife
Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks offer the best display for wildlife photography in all of the United States, and timing this workshop with the peak fall color will allow you to capture stunning scenes. In this wildlife/landscape blended workshop, we'll be shooting big game animals (moose, bears, and bison) as well as landscape photos in both Grand Teton and Yellowstone.
