I believe that what the world needs most right now, is people with a whole lot of stoke. The world needs more people that wake up every morning with a fire under their ass.
That’s why it’s no surprise that after achieving my Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and Advertising, I opted out of the 9-5 Ad Agency life, and went straight into a career in Landscape Photography.
I first picked up a camera at age 16, where I instantly fell in love with the way it challenged me to capture unique light to show those that couldn’t see it for themselves. I loved the way photography let me capture experiences in that backcountry that I could show my friends and family at home, who otherwise wouldn’t be able to ever see it themselves.
I've made it my life goal to help as many other photographers as I could to feel the same emotions as I felt. There is nothing I love more than helping other photographers truly unlock their creative potential.
My work has been published worldwide in magazines such Backpacker, Kayak Sessions, and Outside Magazine. I’ve worked with many brands, including Aramark Resorts, Big Agnes, and REI. My work has been a finalist in the Red Bull Illume Photo Contest. Most importantly, I’ve helped hundreds of students of all ages, from all walks of life, become better landscape photographers. And that’s what really gets me stoked every morning.
You’ll probably find me miles deep in the backcountry, touring around the PNW on my skis, or working with some of my students. I’d love to connect with you, so please email me and I’ll get back to you ASAP.
