Redwoods, Southern Oregon Coast, and the Milky Way Photography Workshop

$2,295.00Price

This workshop spans a wide range of different terrains all in one extended weekend. Most mornings will be spent in the Redwoods, photographing giant trees and forest scenes. This time is year is the best time of year to capture fog in the forest, which results in incredible beams of light flooding in through the forest. Evenings will be spent on the rugged Southern Oregon Coast, where we'll capture the sunset and then the Milky Way over impressive sea stacks.

    • Guiding. As an expert and someone who frequently travels this area, I will share my knowledge on locations and take you to the places where I believe there to be the most favorable weather conditions for photography.

    • Lodging. Your hotel is already reserved for the first three nights in Brookings and the last night in Bandon. The lodging is all single occupancy hotel rooms. If you are interested in double-occupancy lodging, please reach out, and you can save an additional -$300.

    • Post Processing Sessions. We will spend most of our afternoons editing our photos. I'll teach you as much as you can absorb in one long weekend!

    • Instruction. I will instruct the group as a whole, but there will be plenty of one-on-one time during both the sessions in the field and the classroom.

    • Star Tracker. You'll borrow a Star Tracker for the weekend and learn how to use it to capture noise-free night photos.

    • Lifetime access to my exclusive alumni Facebook group. Here, you can get weekly image critique from Austin, as well as talk to other alumni.
